AED Program
Having an AED program (Automated External Defibrillator) is important because AED machines provide treatment until medical support arrives which ultimately saves lives. AED machines should be used when a person has collapsed and there is no normal breathing. An AED should always be present because it increases the survival rate by 60% and can make the difference between life and death, and companies should offer training classes to employees so they are properly trained in CPR and AED protocol. If you do not already have an AED program in place, take time to research how and why you should implement one.
