CPR Classes in Columbus: What to Expect on the Day of Your Class
Are you thinking about taking CPR classes in Columbus? If you’ve never taken a CPR course in your life, you might be wondering exactly what the class will entail. Typically, CPR classes consist of a video or instructor lecture and hands-on skills practice. All students are provided with a print or digital handbook/manual that they can keep. You can opt to take an on-site class or take a class at a local hospital, community center, community college, or training facility.
If you choose to take an on-site class and have the instructor come to you, make sure the room where the class will be taught has enough space to accommodate the students and manikins. For every three students, there should be an open space of about 4×4 feet available. A TV/DVD player will also be required for the course, but if you don’t have this equipment, the trainer will most likely provide it to you. For bigger classes, the use of a projector is recommended so that everyone can see the video lectures easily. Other class materials, such as handbooks, manikins, and AEDs, will be provided by the trainer.
