HSI Advanced First Aid

Comprehensive Advanced First Aid training for workplace and emergency response teams. Learn how to recognize and manage serious medical and trauma emergencies confidently.

Course Overview

The ASHI Advanced First Aid course is designed for those who need more in-depth training than Basic First Aid but not to the level of Emergency Medical Response. This 17–21 hour certification program covers assessment and care for many of the most common illnesses and injuries encountered by responders.

It’s ideal for non-EMS professionals who may be first on scene before advanced help arrives, including workplace responders, security personnel, and public safety staff.
