HSI Wilderness First Aid

Learn how to handle medical emergencies in remote settings with the ASHI Wilderness First Aid course. Gain confidence to respond when help is delayed or resources are limited.

Course Overview

Wilderness environments create unique challenges not often encountered in urban or suburban areas. The ASHI Wilderness First Aid course prepares participants to manage emergencies when professional help may be hours away.

This 16-hour program teaches how to assess, stabilize, and treat patients using limited supplies while making evacuation decisions. The course meets or exceeds the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, 2017 Edition.
